UNUM Brings Shame on UK and US Insurance Industry

Numerous claims made by individuals who have become unable to continue with their insured occupation by illness or disability have been left high and dry by UNUM.

UNUM, their adjusters, doctors, and investigators engage in intentional deceptions and outright lies to prejudice and deny the claims.

These tactics include advising clients courses of action which render their policy worthless. They even employ agents who spy on clients, invade their privacy, make nuisance phone calls and break into cars to gather evidence.

We advise UK members who have made a claim against UNUM to seriously consider investigating UNUM's tactics by requesting all information held on file by UNUM. This can be done in writing and is subject to the UK Freedom of Information/Data Protection Acts

Introduction to the UNUM Long Term Disability Scheme

"We can protect your income and help to preserve the lifestyle of you and your dependants."

This is the UNUM sales pitch which leads people to believe the payments they make will protect them financially if their physical/mental health takes a turn for the worst. How wrong can one be?

Please read my story carefully and protect yourself from a future of misery, physical/mental suffering and financial hardship.

I will be naming and shaming Louise Vaughan, Stephen Brown, Stuart Lewis, Lizz Keirnan and Christine Taylor. These people employed all kinds of tactics in an attempt to refuse my claim - including advising me to take steps which would effectively make my claim null and void. UNUM also employed a private detective to invade the privacy of my family and I. Including camping outside my parent's house for 3 days, reporting the movements of my family, taking pictures, video and most disturbingly breaking into my car to read my private letters.

JUNE SCOTT OF UNUM UK - DEVIL IN DISGUISE??

This serves as a serious warning to anyone who deals with June Scott of UK/US disability insurer Unum.

June Scott (the lady with more faces than a diamond) called me and enquired as to how I was feeling. I started opening up to her - genuinely thinking she was concerned as to the state of my health.

I later found out she had documented everything I was telling her - even contacting my company in the process. This company and it's employees has to be the most untrustworthy, underhand, manipulative organisation I have ever had the displeasure to be involved with.

If you are in work and well - great they are your best friend.

If you are off work sick? Well yes, they're still your "best friend" but behind your back they're plotting to pull the chair from beneath you.

Please learn from my mistakes because the consequences are debilitating.
